Unleash your creativity, lean into the support of community, and build a sustainable creative practice that you can tap into every single day

This group is for women artists of any kind: musicians, photographers, botanists, writers, dancers, actors, painters, mothers, designers, florists, poets, crafters, jewelry makers, chefs, songwriters, and more - if you live and breathe, you are an artist!

This is for you if you resonate with one or all of the following:

  • You are a spiritually minded creative woman

  • You know that there is something deeper inside of you aching to be creatively expressed

  • You’ve had days, months, or years where you’ve felt uninspired, disconnected, and lacking purpose in your creative or personal life

  • Your fear of making “bad” art keeps you from making your art at all

  • You want to be a channel for your art but don’t know where to start OR you want to make it a more regular experience

  • You feel a lack of support and community with women and other creatives

  • You want a deeper connection to the Muse, the Divine, Spirit, your Higher Self

  • You ache for more magic in your life

  • You are looking for a sustainable and joyful way to make your art every day

My story with creativity…

I went to school for art and not once did they talk about creativity.

Not one minute was spent teaching us about the mechanics and the mysticism behind the creative process as a whole.

No one spoke to us about the importance of hearing and following your intuition, where it is our ideas and inspiration come from, and how to tend to the relationship with our Muse.

No one even shared how to create a sense of consistency and sustainability in showing up for our creative practice daily, much less how to make it sacred.

After years of frustration around my creative practice, I had to turn to life itself to learn these things on my own. A decade plus since art school, and many educational pursuits and interests on the side, have led me to a few realizations that completely shifted my relationship with the creative process as a whole:

10 years of teaching yoga and meditation taught me how to step out of my own way and allow something higher to steer.

16 years on and off working with children - the most uninhibited creative beings on the planet - reminded me that creativity is our natural state.

8 years of being coached, and then partaking in a coaching program and apprenticeship taught me how important self discovery is to unlocking our creative potential, and that we are not meant to heal alone.

And most importantly to me, an ongoing decade plus career as a performer and independent musician has given me the place to apply and tie together all that I’ve learned about creativity as a whole.

I have finally gotten to the place where I feel deeply inspired, on purpose, connected to my Muse, and wonderfully in tune with what wants to be created through me in the world (this course being one of those things!) After years of yearning to show up for my creative practice daily, in the same way I was able to show up for my spiritual practice every day for over a decade, I have created both the structure and a sense of sacredness in my art practice - whether it’s music, writing, poetry, drawing or dancing - that has allowed me to create every. single. day.

And it all starts by calling forth, partnering with, and invoking the Muse.

Introducing:

INVOKING THE MUSE

“Invoking the Muse” is the result of over a decade of learning and experimenting with art in my own life. “Art” is ANYTHING that takes the formless (thought, idea, inspiration, feeling, guidance, or download) and gives it form (a photo, a meal, a design, a poem, an arrangement, a song, a movement, a sound, a painting, an expression, an act of love etc.)

This 3-month online group will consist of:

  • 13 weekly 1.5 hour long live group sessions - each themed session will include teachings, experiential practices, community discussions and opportunities for coaching as well (syllabus provided below)

  • A wonderful online chat space to keep connected and check in with the group throughout the week - perfect for support and accountability plus sharing progress, creations, musings, and inspirations

  • Weekly practices to deepen your creativity, expression, and connection to yourself and the Muse

Sessions will be structured while also providing ample space for the collective energy of group and the Muse herself to guide the process.

There will be no teaching of artistic technique in this group, only principles - some of which you may find helpful, some you may discard, and some may change the way you see yourself and the creative process for the rest of your life.

The potent combination of a supportive like-minded community, deepening your connection to the Divine, seeing creativity through the lens of the feminine, and discovering truths about yourself and your creative process along the way will support you in becoming the person you need to be to create the art you want to create in this life.

The Four Pillars of “Invoking the Muse”

  • Community

Women have been gathering for millennia, whether in ceremony, in celebration, in support, or simply in day to day life. Togetherness is how we evolve and grow. It is how we heal. We learn best when we learn from each-other and with each-other. There is an unspeakable power that is created when women gather. A palpable feeling that the sum is greater than the parts. We are sorely missing women-only spaces in this day and age. What being in a shared space with the wisdom and love of fellow women does to the nervous system and the spirit is more potent than anything else I’ve experienced.

There are certain things that can only be healed in community, specifically one where you feel safe, seen, held accountable, and accepted exactly as you are.

  • The Divine

There is a well from which all creation resides. This well is spoken of in many traditions, books, and fields of knowledge and goes by many names. It is referred to as the Sacred, the Unseen, the Divine, Magic, God, the Universe, Love, the Subconscious, or as it’s been known by artist throughout all of time…the Muse.

Some of the core work in this class will be developing tools, skills and practices to call the Muse forward any time you create. You will get to play with the tools of invocation, meditation, and channel journaling, among other things, to deepen your connection to yourself and to your Muse.

When we ritualize the act of invoking - or calling forth and partnering with - our Muse, we begin to realize that we are never alone in the creative process, that we don’t have to rely merely on ourselves for ideas and inspiration, (that our creative practice is a spiritual practice), and that every act of creation is a co-creation with with Life itself.

  • Creativity for the Feminine

Being a woman in the arts is a unique experience, which is why we will look at creativity through that lens specifically. The teachings on creativity will center around how to make your creative practice sustainable and deeply enjoyable, how to balance receptivity and output, how to channel big feelings into powerful creations, and how to align the cyclical nature of being a woman with the cyclical nature of creativity itself.

There is a way to create consistency within your creative practice, and have a deeper level of commitment and purpose, that both honors and supports your feminine nature. A way that works WITH it instead of against it.

  • Self Discovery

Understanding your inner workings and developing an ongoing dialog with yourself is integral in the process of healing, but also in the process of creativity. In this group you will learn how to identify and work with the blocks that arise in your creative process. You will get to practice the art of allowing and express your feelings fully, learn to see them as sacred, and be guided by your inner experience to make your most potent art yet. Art that has universality and relatability. Art that can heal and change the world.

There will be opportunities for support and coaching during each session, based on the principles of Spiritual Psychology (we are all spiritual beings having a human experience.) It is designed to help you unlock your own inner knowing, see past the hurts and old thought patterns that get in your way of your creative expression, and lovingly guide you in the direction of the most aligned and fully expressed version of you.

After you complete this potent 3-month long portal you will:

  • Feel deeply nourished by your connection to yourself, your Muse, and the Divine

  • Have clarity on your “why” and feel excited to wake up and create every day

  • Experience a deep sense of joy in being a vessel for your art

  • Feel more ease in showing up for yourself and for the things that are most important to you

  • Be excited and enlivened by the ritual of creativity

  • Know how to work through blocks that arise in your creative practice

  • See and experience your creative practice as a spiritual practice

  • Feel lovingly supported by a community of women who see you and who are FOR you

***

Now more than ever, the world needs you in your fullness, the world needs your art.

***

The highest purpose of art is to serve as a catalyst for an emotional response in someone who is experiencing it.

***

Art provides a safe space for us to feel the things we don’t feel safe feeling, or the things we didn’t know we felt.

About Brianna

My own creative journey started in earnest at 6 years old when I sat up in bed and told my mom I wanted to be a singer. Music has been my main love and outlet for creativity ever since.

Over time it became increasingly clear that the very intentions and purpose that animated my music and performances was actually what animated all pursuits in my life, all endeavors both creative and personal.

Teaching and supporting people, especially women, in connecting to their truth, their expression, their softness, their power, their wisdom and their own Divinity is one of my greatest joys and deepest purposes in life. It’s what I do when I get on stage to perform, it’s my intention in every poem I write, and it’s the driving force behind who I show up as in my life and in the world.

I am here to liberate women from the confines of the limitations they, and society, place upon them. I am here to be a vessel for art and for love and to create a space (sonically or personally) for others to feel more connected to their higher self. To life. To their own Muse.
