“Orbit (I Am a Woman) is a sonic reminder that to be a woman is to be a gravitational pull so pure and so powerful that your very existence is cause for deep reverence and cosmic celebration” says Brianna of her most recent single.

During childhood, living in rural Colorado and later in Southern California, Brianna developed a deep sense of connection to the natural world from a young age.

“A sense of awe for flowers, the sky, and the sea has been a constant in life. The world in all her wonder is the most dependable creative muse. I have always had a love for nature, exploring the inner world, and anything in the world of art. Music, to me, became a space in which all of these worlds so naturally collided. An avenue for self expression and self discovery alike.”

At the age of 19 she began studying eastern philosophy and meditation while pursuing a degree in visual arts. Over the years, her studies deeply affected her music, informed the way in which she created and performed it, and opened her awareness to the connective and healing quality that the medium of song innately holds.

Brianna’s sound is both playful and prayerful by nature. Organic and etherial to its core. Imbued with sweetness and wisdom, her songs serve as a gentle invitation back to oneself and exist as an ode to the ancient female archetype; finding power in softness and strength in vulnerability.

She established herself first in the LA music scene with the release of her single Lady of the Lake back in 2016. Now, her forthcoming EP begins to enter the world with the release of the honest and delicately powerful “Orbit (I Am a Woman)” as the first single on March 31st 2023. The full project, recorded and co-produced with longtime friend Dane Sandborg amongst the trees at a home studio in Topanga Canyon CA, is due out in early Fall of 2023.

“This project has been so much about returning to what’s honest and what’s true.

One of my deepest intentions for this music is for it to serve as a gentle invitation back the authentic self, a portal of connection to something higher, and a reminder to have so much tenderness with oneself along the way.”
